Ok, so I am about to try installing the 65mm APS intake one more time. My question is this, is it really necessary to take off the freaking quarter panel??? Because the damn filter doesn’t fit through the hole! If anyone has any pointers…please, I am all ears!

    Thanks in advance!

Can't you take off the front wheel then pull the wheel liner down?

    FTZ ^.^

Once you get the charge tube down in the fender well, crank your steering wheel all the way to the left and in the Passenger fender well, you should be able to pull the plastic liner back enough to fit your hand and the filter up in it.

It is a tight fit, and not a whole lot of room to work with, but that is how I got the filter on my Injen Cold Air Intake, without having to remove the Quarter Panel.
