Shit day for driving yesterday. Going to lunch my friend had to brake check 2 times to avoid people pulling in front of us. :hsnono: Going home on Roswell Rd fuckwad #3 pulls out from dealership (talking on cell phone of course) and cuts me off. No biggee just shift to right lane. As I'm about to pass he comes over again! I hit the curb before I could get on the brakes. He kept on driving down the road. :hsnono: I went to the dealership he pulled out of (he had dealer tags on the new truck) and they didn't know who he was. :hsnono: I called the cops and they said since he didn't hit me all they could do was give me a failure to maintain lane ticket. :hsnono: Fuckers. It's a good thing I don't pack while driving anymore.
I got pulled over and told I had road rage when almost the same thing happened to me. Work van I was behind failed to turn at a green light until it changed to yellow. As we get straightened out, I put on my turn signal and begin my lane change to get around the moron and he, with no signal, cuts me off. I proceed to the next lane and accelerate, at which time the kind Gwinnett County P.D. officer feels obliged to correct my "aggressive driving" rather than the moron actually breaking the laws (not signaling lane changes, failure to turn curb to curb, etc.). Once he saw that I wasn't a punk kid and I was in a shirt and tie, he decided to simply lecture me about road rage and let me go with a warning. I wanted to ask him what he could have charged me with anyways, since I didn't speed, signaled all my lane changes, etc. But decided not to look a gift horse in the mouth, and went on my way....Sucks that the laws make it easier for them to pull over the person reacting, even reacting legally, than the person causing all the problems. Most road rage wouldn't exist if they would enforce the exisiting traffic laws, minus speeding of course... Sorry to hear about your day!
im gonna be extra careful driving from now on... im also considering a defensive driving course... glad the damage is not too bad brian
