wat do you guys think??? I'm in need of Navigation and better head unit as well. I like this one the best out of other so far. Prett good price with lots of features. Crutchfield sells this at $1699, and eBay is around $1400. To me, $300 is a BIG difference. Installation will be done by me.

i kept hear people complaining about pioneer navigation. They say that they can't alter route nor change setting when vehicle is moving.

I was going to bring up the car pc as well, alot of people talk about buying a nav system for $1500 +, but a car pc can be built for around $1100 and you get so much more with the PC.

I always recommend people go to a local stereo shop and see how low they can go on prices before buying off of Ebay. Crutchfield is great since they warranty all their products and have great customer support but you can get the same bonuses at a local shop.

Most salesman at Hifi Buys/Tweeter or wherever earn commission and can be flexible on pricing in order to make the sale. Print out the item for sale on a legit website (not Ebay) and see how close they can get on the price. In my case they couldnt match the price of my head unit online, but could match the price plus shipping.

Other than that I dont know anything about navigation systems in cars, I'm old fashioned and have a map and a compass in the mirror.

car pc is very tempted... i should definately check out amol's car.

I'll shop for new laptop that i can use it as car pc instead of buying just nav unit.
