    Ok guys,

So today since I too broke to buy a turbo timer, i sat in my car when i got home letting my car cool down, and so i decided to look through my glovebox. I come to find the previous owners registration and ive been wanting to get in contact with the previous owner of my car for a while.

So I do a reverse search on 411.com and get his # I call him up.

Ask him what was done to the car before and all the interesting stuff a new car owner wants to know.

So began talking about mods and what not, he told me it had a greddy catted dp, exhaust mani and turbo back.

Turns out the previous previous owner, blew the ej20 that came in the car and swaped in an ej25!!! I flip a shit and look for the engine code and there it is EJ25 stamped on the block!!!

Hell yes, the previous owner has all the parts and he is going to sell them to me for the LOW!!!
    This made my year!!

To put some icing on the cake, Im getting a HKS SSQ BOV for free!!!! Thursday!!

Just thought i would share my story!

you should sell the ssqv bov and but something that will help your car instead of hurt it. all bov do is make noise and you sont need an aftermarket one unless you are highly modded. i got a bov whem i first bought my car and it made me run rich and screwed with my shifting points. i put the stock bov back on and problems went away.

sell the bov and use the money for a mod that your car will benifit from.

    Wow, what an awesome surprise.

And yeah, like everyone else is saying, bov's are totally not neccesary for any normal amount of boost. If you must though, I'd say go with a 50/50 bov. I do love the sound, but just know that that is all it is, a cool sound (and running rich).

    ^^what he said.
the stocker works great and it doesn't mess up anything.
i had a TurboXS RFL on my car when I bought it and the stocker in a box and couldn't figure out why I had all this black soot on my back bumper. When I put the stocker back on the car and gave it a good wash and wax, no more soot. I have been using the stocker ever since.

you might want to look into some suspension and/or brake mods w/ the money you get from selling the bov. sounds like you have the power part taken care of for the moment.

I had the same thing happen to me, except that I found most of the mods but was able to track down the previous owner. Crazy drag racing catholic priest. Sounds like a good find if all of the work was done properly.
