Anyone out there have an in with an engineering firm looking for a good EE...? I'm sending out some feelers looking for other options in case my contract spot ends sooner than expected. Degreed Electrical Engineer, 7.5 years of experience overall. One at a public utility company, 4 with an EPC in TN, 2.5 with an EPC in TX in oil and gas, and my few months here in Atlanta, also an oil and gas EPC. No PE, but I have taken and passed the EiT/FE exam.

Shoot me a PM if you know of someone or something. :)

look into GT career fairs. I'm pretty sure they're open to the public regardless of if you went there or not.

Thanks, I'll check that out! Looks like the fall one is in September, no mention of if it's limited to GT students/alumni or not. I'll have to call and ask.

While you're at it, apply at GT. Also keep an eye on higheredjobs.com
Yes universities pay less, but ask me about my stress level :naughty:

Looked into it, GT students and alumni only, as I expected. Ah, well.

Thanks... Been keeping an eye on that site! My alma matter back in TN has a career fair coming up early October if all else fails.
