EVO GA/// SE invites WRXAtlanta

Hey guys,

I'm here to invite the Subaru community for the October 28th through 30th Evolution Owners club of Georgia and South East's first annual Tail of the Dragon meet.

If you don't have anything planned or you were going up to the Tail of the Dragon that weekend, you guys are always welcome to hang out with the Evo owners.

We have people from all over south east showing up, even from Florida.

So it'll be an event.

thanks for the invite sung... my parents will be in town during that time so i doubt i'll be able to make it... hopefully we'll get a bunch of subys to join u guys

Tech Homecoming that weekend, though I wish I could go instead of seeing how our team will fare against climpsun.

anyway, we will be at Fontana Village on Friday through Sunday.

I'm going up Friday. We have some members that are willing to share cabins, split the costs, etc.

Saturday is the car show, dragon run and bon-fire at night.

Sunday, we'll take the pictures at the Fontana Dam. We have killboy coming by sunday to take the pictures.

but if you guys are interested, on the car show on saturday, if we have enough other cars, we'll do "other cars" trophy section where evo owners and other car owners vote for the winner.



prizes aren't much, but you'll be happy to know that you got respect from Evo owners and your fellow car enthusiasts.




BTW, I tried really hard to make some of the meetings that you guys posted on our site. I had few other things I had to do, so I couldn't meet up...

We really need to do a group meeting one of these days. Have a large car show or something. Maybe we should organize one.

 

im definitely down for something like that... like i mentioned earlier, my parents got in town yesterday and will be here till nov 10th... so my outings are somewhat limited... please post up when u guys have any local meets and i'll try my best to make it

 

I will try to make it to Deal's gap on Saturday, as I am going to pick up my evo in NC, relatively close to Deal's gap.

by the way, saturday night, we'll be having a bon-fire in the yard in front of the general store.

all of your frat buddies are welcome to join in.

car shows at noon, same spot.

 

had a great turn out, had great fun.

We are going to do this again, but maybe during the spring, some of us could get together and head to dragon for a day or so.

We could take 129 all the way up from 400.

 

This actually sounds good. I started to get a dragon thread together for wrxatl, but things came up. Give me a holler when you come up with a good date and I will work with Milo/alex on our side to get things rolling.
