Exhaust cut out?

Does anyone know about how much an exhaust cutout like Bobby's would cost to have made? I'd probably install it just downstream of the downpipe, before the resonator, and probably on the stock pipe, as it's kind of a "Bolt on, bolt off, done" sort of thing.

I'm sure someone on here has had this done. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd get an aftermarket downpipe and get it welded on as close to the turbo as possible. Turbo cars need no backpressure once the turbo is spooled.

QTEC makes an electronic cutout where you hold a button down for 3 seconds to open it, and 3 seconds to close it. The motors wear out after a while since it will overtorque the valve if you hold the switch for too long. They also offer a smart brain which automatically cuts out the motor when the cutout is fully open.

ATP also offers a vacuum/boost operated cutout which will open when you hit full boost. The only downside I see with this one is that you wont gain any spool benefits with the cutout closed until full boost is hit. http://www.atpturbo.com/root/releases/release091004.htm

I think something like the QTEC controller wired into the TPS would be great, opens at 100% throttle and closes as soon as you let off.

Or you can get one like mine which is farther downstream and has no real performance gains other than the "OMG my car is so loud" factor. And 3whp.
