What do you guys think of a 3" to 4" exhaust from the down pipe with nothing but 2 resonators on it? Would it be stupid loud or nice loud? Also what headers and other exhaust components do you guy recommend me getting? I have a 2004 wrx with a fujita intake, i plan on getting the cobb stage 2 ecu to go with the exhaust work and maybe a little bigger turbo down the line as well. thanks.
Wouldn't it be better to go with a 4" down pipe to 3" exhaust? I am pretty sure that Turbo XS has a 4" down pipe.
400 at the wheels can still be done on stock location if you push it and add meth/water injection (if you don't want to do engine work). Now this is assuming a 2.5 liter AVCS motor, not a 2.0 liter WRX engine. An AP is a flash device. There are a variety of features on the new ones like 0-60 time, 1/4 mile, live data logging and monitoring, etc. It also allows tuners access to the ecu and the can tune it faster. www.cobbtuning.com Click up top where it says Access Port.
The AP is what you will need to Run Cobb Stage 2. Its not a full ecu, just a reflash device. EDIT: i must have hit the thumbsdown smiley by accident posting from my iphone, disregard that
i have an invidia catless dp with custom 3" free flowing catback exhaust with an hks hi power muffler and it really isn't too loud at all
