    Logistics Geek Needs More Brains!!!

So, to cut to the chase. I want some extra income, aside from my salaried job. I work the normal 40hr work week with some flex in the 7-5 range (7-4, 8-5, etc....). The position travels sometimes when I have to go on location for an analysis, or implementation.

    EDIT READ BELOW:

Can anyone think of products that are not readily available in the United States?

From cigars, condoms, clothing, jewelry, watches, etc.....

    Any ideas are greatly appreciated!!!

I have a friend with a couple of side businesses that she does. You can make as much as you put time in. If you know a lot of people, and are good at networking this would be easy. The first one that she mainly does is selling nutritional suplements to people. www.mannapages.com/pegmckenna I was impressed with the science behind these and the fact that it is the only plant based nutrition out on the market. The other is working for a new energy company based in Texas. She claims they are going to be the next google. If you are interested in any of these, you can email her (Peg McKenna) at pegmckenna@comcast.net or call at 404-667-4140. Just tell her Dr. Chris recommended her, and she can answer any questions you have about getting started.

Thanks for the info! I am emailing her now.

Are you actively involved in either of the two?

You want extra income? Get a job as a Bartender on Friday and Saturday nights. Cash money, no taxes

    damn you and your wikipedia!!!!
being a bartender is a nice sidejob ( i am one while i am still in school.) any decent bar should net around $200 a night. but the downside is you don't get home until 2-3 in the morning which gets a little old.

Only as a customer. I use the Mannatech products, and just recently signed up for the Stream energy. Worth looking into if you are looking for a little side business, difficult to get your entire income, but can certainly be done.

    lol. my condolences

my grandfather taught anatomy at a chiropractic school (he has his Ph.D from wake forest) and to listen to a 75 year old man rip into them is hilarious

yeah I gathered that from his sig, but most all are neither so I was curious which one he was to be "Dr. Chris"

Correct, I am a Chiropractor. I deal with the nervous system, and releive pressure off of the nerves by adjusting the position of the bones in the spine. Anatomy was one of my favorite classes. Very dificult, but wonderful. It is amazing at how much humans still don't know about how our bodies work. Especially looking at the medical model of using drugs for symptoms, and not addressing the cause. I should probably step off my soap box about now...

So which one? MD or phD

  31. nicad

nicad Yes I am a troll

chiropractors are usually neither, but having a phd doesn't mean you can practice medicine. it's just a post graduate degree

Actually my degree is DC (Doctor of Chiropractic), so it is neither MD or phD.

I sell spine implants :) I guess you can say I see the people who's only option for pain management or neural deficit is surgery

Best case senario is people would see me first (no drugs or surgery), then drugs or epidurals, and last resort would be your customers who would put in spinal implants. What sort of parts do you sell? Maybe I should take this to PM's...
