Well, I wasn't hitting target boost (15.8 +- .5) with stage 2. Ran a week with the HWG map to no avail, max I could hit in any gear was 14.3, period. Car ran a lot stronger and power came on quicker and smoother, but I was hoping for a little more boost.

So after a week I decided to try fucking with the wastegate arm a bit and see if that would help (I've also had wastegate flutter since the UP/DP). Yanked the clip (if you do this, make sure you don't lose it... Cobb said they hadn't found it other than at the scooby dealer) and tightened the arm a full two turns (seems to be a good starting point for the '05s). Took the car out, hit 14.5 in 2nd, 14.7 in 3rd and 15.3 in 4th. Boost is solid as a rock, no wavering back/forth which would indicate the WG arm is too tight. Since it's 90+ and humid as hell I am not going to tweak it further to get to 15.8... it might well come when it cools down a bit.

So I figure I gained some 10 hp I had left on the table... car feels great, smooth, quick. Part throttle is fantastic. Seems like boost comes on quicker/harder than before I screwed around with it.

    Just sharing...

Well, after a spirited drive I'm now seeing 15.4 in 3rd and 15.7 in 4th.. still solid as a rock. I guess the WG mod allows the ECU to start shooting for the 15.8 target Cobb has set the map for.
