Fill plug in my 5MT

    Okay. So where is the fill hole on my 5mt in my 98 Outback? What size bolt is it? I think it is low.
    Pics would be great I'd you have them

    the hole is where the dip stick goes. that's how you fill it....with a funnel. VERY slowly

    definite emphasis on the SLOWLY, spilling extra s on the turbo heat shield was not fun for my nose for a day or two :(

    I don't see a dipstick anywhere. I have stared at the top of the tranny for 10 minutes. Pic please???

    passenger top. dipstick SHOULD be yellow like this.

    for me (6spd MT) its on the passenger side close to the firewall, I know its at the same place on my friends bugeye so I'm guessing its the same for you also. [​IMG]

    Thanks Matt. I found it. Yellow handle was covered in black grease/oil and it was right under a big plug junction.
