I took the car over to TopSpeed and Scott did an excellent job :bowdown:. The car is running lots better now. It made 260/250 on the baseline pull from Andrew at Dyno4mance. After a few hours of work it made 292 hp and 297 tq at the wheels with a much better curve. dyno sheet is attached Car is 04 WRX w/ VF 22 and FMIC + other goodies
The baseline of 260 was a full tune from Dyno4mance... which funny enough made the exact same power on their "Low Reading" DynoDynamics dyno as it did on our dynoJet. FWIW the base line tune was pulling timing hardcore, they were trying to run 18 degrees of timing @ 11.7afr at peak tq.... which isn't going to happen no way no how on pumpgas.
Sounds like it was tuned like Evos like to be tuned. Very funny about the dyno....I'm sick of the dyno this dyno that comparisons. Robbie at Epic Motorsports near me is a friend and has a Mustang dyno. He wants to strap my car on to compare his to yours just to shut some people up. FYI his dyno has stock STi's at 230-240ish hp and I believe yours does too.
Yeah the spool time is definitely slow but I guess it makes up for it with top end. Scott and Doug took excellent care of me at TopSpeed.
