My wagon is done and gone from SOG now. Took it out for a drive tonight and it is a whole lot more fun than it was with the automatic, not to mention a good bit quicker. I also got Ecutek tuned by Scott earlier. I dont know what kind of power I'm making but it's running 19psi peak and the standard taper to redline with almost no lag at all. Engine Mods: APS version 1 TMIC APS 70mm CAI APS 50/50 BOV APS 3" turboback with 4" fart can Vishnu Up-pipe Vishnu fuel rails STI pink injectors Walbro fuel pump IHI VF29 turbo ECUTEK!! The new tranny is a version 5 STI-non RA transmission with 4.44 final drive ratio. Came with an STI short shifter and then I bought the bling Subaru Momo shift knob to go with it. Tranny had 40K miles on it (same as my car), doesnt grind any gears, and easily goes into 1st(JDM TyT3 synchros I guess).
So Bobby, Is it still white or does it have a nice brown color to it No more F150 at the subaru gatherings ... woo hoo
glad you finally got your car back. sounds like its gonna be nice. you add all those mods while it was in the shop? if not what were you running when you ran a 13.2? what do you think it will run now?
The 13.2 @ 105 was what the car ran with the same mods, except with a badly tuned Unichip and a Protorque 4100rev high-stall torque converter. It feels a whole lot quicker so maybe 12s? I'm not a big dragger and dont plan on going anytime soon but definately when I get a hang of it. I'm hoping for ~270whp at the dyno day. Keith, SOG threw in a complimentary wash and my car is actually white again. Kris, it is a lot more fun. Was it worth the wait? Hell yes!
