    All,

    Fish, anyone?

I'm looking into possibly picking up my retired fishing pole. It's been few seasons for me and I'm starting to crave it, I miss it!!! I used to enjoy fishing down chatahoochee river, when I could find good spots, and if they were not already taken.

My plan is to check out some of my old spots, if they even exist anymore. If anyone has good spots to share, or if you know any parks along the chattahoochee river, please share. I prefer up north, Holcomb bridge and up.

Thanks and feel free to discuss anything related to fishing,

    Thanks,

Have you been trout fishing on the hooch below the dam?

Is a license needed to fish here?

Yes, you need a fishing license and a trout stamp.

I've been here 2 years and have yet to get out fishing - the wife has been begging to go.

You can get your license online. Just make sure that trout is part of it. And i have been by the dam and down. I actually live in law suwanee, so its my backyard. It just gets too crowded at times the closer you are to the lake.

Go for it. The river is very relaxing. Just don't swim in it. You'll freeze your balls off.
