Fluid Change

    Hello All

    Well I am doing my usuall oil change at TopSpeed and I am going to do a diff and tranny fluid swap as well(5spMan). Could you-all recommend a fluid shopping list. If you have any other routine maintenance tips at 26K let me know(did hawk pads, turned the rotors and replaced the plugs already). I want to give it a good overhaul. Maybe recommend a good air filter. I asked about fuel filters but most folks recomended I wait a little longer on that.

    I think that about covers it, I assume you are going to rotate tires, etc? We used redline last time I did a tranny fluid swap and it felt quite nice afterword. I would stay away from royal purple anything though.

    Why stay away from Royal puple, I know a bunch of people who use it. it works great! :hsugh:

    Its relatively thin compared to what else is out there, even as the same weight and viscosity.

    yeah i have seen a few people destroy transmissions in wrx's with Royal Purple.

    hmm and you're sure it wasn't driver error? I mean, Royal purple gets spots in Subie Sports, does giveaways, & talks about their own staff owning wrxs...

    Can you guys help me out with the fluid specs for the diff and tranny? I will take up that amsoil filter tip, I almost forgot about them. I'll Get my diff and oil fluids from them as well, what's the cocktail consist of?
