    I don't know, I still haven't connected the last piping. :) Finally got the 2.75-2.5 reducer I was waiting for, but didn't have time this weekend.

    reason i asked is because black may decrease your heat exchanger coeficient a tad but with such large surface i think it will not be of any significance.

    Keep in mind that it's almost 4" thick and it's only the front that's painted. I think the effect will be pretty much nil.

    Seriously, it's the same size as the TurboXS core. I'm running a VF34, which should work well with it. It's a shade overkill to go big front mount with one, but the deal was right and if I want to step up to a bigger turbo later on I'm all set.

    As to the brand, it's SS Autochrome and essentially a TXS knockoff. Quality on the stuff seems fine.

    Just wondering, not knocking it. Guess your right you will never have to upgrade the fmic
