So going through my 04 and just getting the feel of the STI again i noticed steel, black, round lateral links. I assume all the 04 STI's came with these? Is there any benefit to the 05+ aluminum lateral links?

Not that I remember...You can buy the nice purty JDM STI ones if you're itching to replace those.

Im not one to spend on pure dress up items heh. If they actually made a difference in day to day driving like a steering rack bushing or trans mount i would consider it haha.

I'm thinking about getting rid of my whiteline adjustable ones. I want to go to a Poltech setup with Spherical bearings.

    Whats the benefit? Camber adjustable?

Yeah they are camber adjustable and have poly bushings.

these are one of the only ways to properly adjust rear camber (ie, not using bolts). Thanks ball for selling them now that I don't need them...

If you don't get these now but do so in the future, make sure to the whiteline ones specific for the STi. The WRX ones, while they fit the STi, do not have the proper bracket welded on for the rear endlinks. It's not the cheapest mod, but it's the best if you're planning on setting up track alignments on your car
