Forget the BW turbos

    I've been looking at holset and other diesel turbos for my build. mostly because the hotsides are big, and they are CHEAP. lots of power for very little money

    that thing is going to spool...never...

    i read the gibberish about the EGTs, I really just don't see that thing turning

    The damn inlet is bigger than the throttle body haha

    Oh the BW have turbos that big too, it's just...well as noted above...if you like spool by 7200 rpms....that's the turbo for you!!

    think the VGT system helps the low end at all??

    they have holset turbos much better suited for our displacement as well.

    problem with the variable vane turbos with gasoline engines is the EGTs. I wouldn't run one with it. it took porsche a long time to bring the technology to gas engines
