Just picked up a 95 impreza L plan on putting either a wrx 2.0 or sti 2.5 into it with everything that would go with each of those engines, which is better, the car is a coupe, and will have race suspension/cage the whole 9 yards. I realize the 2.0 is cheaper obviously but in the end is it just better to go with the 2.5 from and sti?

You think I have everything, you should check with WJM. I would imagine he needs a warehouse to keep all his stuff in by now.

Now back to the original thread ;)

If you are going all out then I would go with a fully built 2.5. A stock ej205 needs the internals upgraded anyways if you plan on tracking the car hard and often. Those upgrades cost as much for a 2.0 as they do for a 2.5. You can find 2.5 blocks with bad pistons for about 400 instead of buying a new one.

thanks, money is not really the issue I just need to find out what it will cost all together I can take out a loan and cover the major shit, first thing I got to do though is check out the NW Spokane car lot /dump supposably they have 4 sti's that are totalled from the driver seat back with good engine and tranny's, after that I'll let you guys know.
