Gauging Interest: Indoor Rock Climbing g2g.

Would anyone be interested in doing a Indoor Rock Climbing g2g?. I thought that it would be fun. There are a few places to go in the Atlanta metro area. Just gauging interest....

Rather do the outdoor thing , but the gym works for me

Yes, usually go to atlanta rocks about once a month or so on thursdays during the day.I know a couple of guys that like to go with.

Clemson has a nice wall that I visit about twice a week. It would be a lot cheapier than having to go somewhere. It's only $6 to get into the gym, and then they provide all of the equipment needed. I am belay certified as well. They are open Sun-Thurs 530-830. I would be interested in hearing what you guys have to offer in Ga. as well.

Just set it up. We don't have to have ten people. Five members plus whoever we bring would be plenty fine.

 

I will set this up after a few days...Thanks...I am thinking of Escalade and also Atlanta Rocks for the locations...does anyone know of any others in the Atlanta Metro area that are reasonably priced?.

prices are going to be all the same. Plus everyone that hasnt climbed at the gyms will be required to do belay tests... 10 min crash course..

I think some gyms may even require a crash course on belaying, knot tieing etc... That could be an additional cost.

I would suggest calling up the gyms and seein what the deal is. Also if anyone gets the urge up for some outdoor climbing let me know. I have a full rack , rope, etc...

 

avg price is about $16 , plus rental harness / shoes / chalk bag, and then belay test.

 

Bring her man. I can probably get my wife to come..

I checked out both Escalade and Atlanta Rocks and it seems like Atlanta Rocks has a better deal. I will set this up soon.
