What are you 6 speed swap guys running. Do the springs need to be GC specific because of the weight, or will STi springs give me the same ride height.

    Killacky or Rick maybe?

Also I need a good place to get some new brembo stickers

    Thanks,
    Andrew

100lbs at near the lowest point and center line of the car is no real big deal, 100lbs of oversized wheels and tires on the corners is another story.

^^I can agree with that statement. the ride quality went down moving from 17x8.5 w/245's to 18X9.5 w 265's. Handling is much better with 40mm of add'l rubah front and rear though. Is this the race car you guys are building? I thought 315's were on the horizon!

Its my personal car, trying to build something I can daily so im probably gonna go with racecomp springs on sti struts. Wasnt sure if all that would work on a GC though.
Dont have 315 money. Will still probably do 265s though

Hey I keep forgetting to ping back and just remembered...do your homework before you buy tires, rims, and struts. I got lucky and my 265's with offset of my wheels and the thin profile of the TEIN's body, because my tires are less than 5mm from the strut.

IIRC the STI strut body is much thicker and would require much more consideration for the rest of your setup

The clearance issue you experience with stock struts is the spring perch. Coilovers usually use 2.5in springs, I'd guess stock spring width is about 5in. so the need an equally wide perch.
