Gear Noise?

I am running stage2, ACT clutch, and I recently changed my fluids on my tranny. When I lift I can hear what seems to be a gear noise. Its not vibrational and there is no banging. It just sounds like I have RA gears or something and they are winding down. I don't have RA gears. Is this normal?

I don't recall hearing this before, but then again I didn't always run 235's on the street. I am at about 70k and I wanted to make sure that it wasn't wheel bearings or anything going bad. I can't really hear it on acceleration, but that could be due to engine and exhaust noise. I am assuming that if it was the bearings it would be constant.

Another side question, is the front diff. drained in another way than just using the main tranny drain plug? Someone had mentioned changing their fluid on the front diff., but making it sound like it was something apart from the tranny drain plug.

Regarding the front diff drain, only the automatic has a separate drain plug.

That happens to me too. I don't know if we're talking about the same thing. But when I engine brake into 2nd gear, my passengers always think they hear a whining noise like a cop car. But it's just the friction from 2nd gear or something, not sure.

Mine does that too... I've only got 27k and stock clutch.
