dang scott, if its still locked your in trouble. if its unlocked i think you will be alright, if your still under warranty i would have it checked out though.

Its fine now?? Maybe the linkage was binding? Hopefully you werent on pavement when you were spinning tires anyway!

i wasn't spining the tires that crazy....i was on pavement with new tires but it was wet...and i guess it was an aggressive launch....so you think it's the linkage?...should i have it checked out?....is it something that a warranty would cover?

I'd say get it checked. You're warranty should still be intact for the tranny.

Which gear is it locked into? Same thing happened to my car. I had to pay 2500 at the stealership to get it fixed. Could simply be the linkage, could be that you broke a gear. Kind of hard to tell to be honest. But i hope its nothing.

i need to go over there sometime myself. Im gonna do my timing belt in a month i think. Tranny fluid couldnt hurt to be changed. I have that royal purple and it grinds a lot. Im switching to redline.

    good luck today bro.

i called SOG and they said they could change my tranny fluid out for around $100 dollars, but not sure it was the fix and didn't have a car for me at the time so they really couldn't investigate further without me leaving it for a while...it's my daily driver and didn't want spend $100 just yet so i didn't have anything done with it....it drives and shifts fine now....i think i'm going to change out the tranny fluid soon regardless..
