so i went to helen today with my sti. i didnt drive. i was a backseat passenger and i freakin THREW UP!!! :barf: man. it was just way too bumpy for me this time around. no more moutain runs for a while.
you just need to make sure that you're driving, then you don't throw up. Come to the next mounton run and see for yourself.
Yeah, you need to be driving instead of riding in the back. BTW, why were you not driving?? I know there is no way my wagon would be up in the mountains with me in the back seat! -drums
haha. i should be driving huh?! well, i trust my friends driving more than me. he's more experienced than i am. but yea, i definitly need new tires and i need to get my brakes checked before the next one.
well, throwing up is better than ending up in the ditch or off the side of the mtn. i would recommend going up there and driving it yourself so you can get more comfortable with your car's attitude. just go easy, don't push it beyond your comfort zone. -drums
backseat is the worst place to be if you get car sick. if you were at least in the passenger front...prolly would have been better. yeah next time drive ur car, take it easy, and have fun.
My girlfriend and I went up there 2 weeks ago when I was on fall break. I had just installed my rear sway bar so I had a lot of fun playing around in the mountains. I really want to go back now that I'm retuned, but first new tires and an alignment.
If you don't feel comfortable driving in the mountains you should really try and autox. It's a safe environment to learn your car's limits in. I don't think i could ever be a passenger in a mountain run, hell brian me made motion sick driving his evo around our neighborhood. If you want, i got a set of stock brake pads with about 5,000 miles on them, you can have them for the low low price of free. But if you want some serious braking i would get some Hawk HP+ pads, they are awesome.
