didn't know where else to stick this... I'm trying to change the cabin filter, and i can't get the damn glovebox light plug to disconnect. Is there some trick? i need some help here, i'm losin daylight... :grr:
ok then either come over here and prove the manual wrong (because I'm having trouble working around it) or tell me how to undo the connector...
try a little screwdriver, not to pry but just to maybe push in any locking tabs it may have. Never seen that particular connector but those little screwdrivers help with a bunch of tricky connectors.
yeah, thats what i've been trying, but i'm not sure where/how to push, press, clinch or squeez. :-/ I just seem to be doing a good job of mangling the plastic plug and its still not loose. I haven't hated a connector this much since I replaced a couple of Ford turn-signal assemblies in the steering columns...
Finally! Mangulated the damn thing, but got it off. ....if anyone remembers me complaining about an in-cabin smell, i think i just found it...
