For 1/8 mile, I think you would have to be in the 9s to need a helmet. It still doesn't make sense to me the whole Helmet thing. If on a 1/4 mile 13 seconds requires a helmet, you are most likely going to have a trap speed of around 95+, so they are saying that if you hit the wall you need a helmet. If you have a trap speed of 85, probably high 14s, you don't. So they are saying that if you hit a wall going 85 you are not in danger enough that you need a helmet.
