Anyone know of a good place to get a VO2 max test? I just googled it this week and found The New Gym of Buckhead. It's $130 there. They also do an RMR test for $60. Since I've been sedintary for the past 10 years and just now trying to get fit again, I thought this would be a great time to get some baseline #'s, then test again in 6 months to see what kind of improvement I've made.
Not sure man... been outta shape so long, that info would be depressing! But let me know what you find on this.. after I lose the rest of my gut, I'm gonna actually try to get my heart in shape (ie.. jogging, tennis, harder cardio...). For that, I too would like some baseline numbers to be able to see before/after.......
I've heard good things about Tony Meyers at ATS: http://www.athletictrainingservices.com/ATS_testing.htm I've also heard that he will be able to provide testing at atlanta cycling, but has not done it yet.
