Hey guys, ran into an issue with a flat and I needed a new tire. Of course the dealer tried to sell me 4, I told them otherwise.

Anywho, if you need a tire shaved down, I HIGHLY recommend Wilkinson Tire over in Tucker. Its $50 to shave the tire and they had me in and out in an hour this morning.

    Great guys.

$50 to shave one tire? I think Gran Turismo charged me a lot less the last time I had one tire shaved from them.

Oh well, thanks for the info. At least now I know of another place that can shave a tire:)

Well, I couldnt find any place else, so I went to Wilkinson. How much does GTE charge?

Wish I had known about them yesterday.

I don't think there is that many people that tire shave in Atlanta to begin with...

SoK told me Wilkinson was the ONLY place in the area.

I was about to say, I'm sure GTE does it.

    $50 is really high.

$100 gets you all 4 tires specially shaved for whatever purpose you want...from this place I used to work...*shrug*

GTE FTW. They will take care of you. They recently got a new blade for their shaver, and I heard it is smooth as butter now.
