Grinding coming from under hood when car is running.

My clutch has been going out (only slips at full throttle). Now that is said, I just tried to start my car this morning and with the clutch still engaged, it started and a horrible grinding noise came from the engine bay. I have no idea what this could be. Any suggestions?

 

Don't start the car again and have it towed to Allpro.

 

^^^Agreed. Don't start it again and take it to a reputable shop. Could be a number of things but it's probably the clutch rivets hitting the flywheel and grinding metal on metal.

 

Car is fixed, It was a bearing that busted on one of the timing belt pulleys.
