i want to get a cool grounding kit....any suggestions?....this was one i was checking out: http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=402
I have yet to install mine, but those people who have put them on have said they work pretty well. Hopefully they'll add more on that. My suggestion is to get one off of eBay. You'll pay $20 with shipping....
All that they are are copper wires, caps, and a radial connection to the battery... I don't see thy one woulf be any better than the others. I DO know that some come with 7 wires, some 5, some 9-ish. But to the battery connections have like 12 points, so you can always just buy some 4 guage wire and some clips to make more if you want. It still won't even cost close to what vivid is charging.
cool...so when you put yours in maybe we can meet up...hopefully i'll have mine in time or if not just to see how you set yours up..?
ive done mine and i have a ebay kit. i used simular grounding points on mine. heres a link to my review.http://wrxatl.com/forums/search.php?searchid=12183
I have the same grounding kit as JT, got it on Ebay for like $30 including Shipping, couldn't be happier. Looks Nice and Clean. Easy to Install. Helps smooth out Idle especially with the A/C on. No point spending big $$$ for it as said above, it's just copper wires and battery connection.
heres one like mine and it has a voltage stableizer. 45 shipped. damn i wish they had that when i bout mine. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7985673827&category=33692
that one's pretty cool...not to be superficial but i don't dig the blue wires ssh: ....moose can make me a kit though? :wavey:
I can give you a hand some time... don't have time to make them for sale. All you need is some wiring, soldering stuff, and connectors.
its at my parents house so i will pick it up and maybe you can call me later today and come pick it up..
