Was wanting to know if anyone was interested in the SPT High Flow Air Intakes. The Retail price is $209.95, and I would sell them for $174.95 if I could get at least 10 people for the buy. It would take me 3-4 days to get them. Let me know your thoughts Lisa Here is a little info on them 2 different SPT High Flow Air Intakes one fots the 2002-2006 WRX, STI models and the other fits the 2005-2006 Legacy GT, GT Ltd, OBK XT, OBK XT Ltd, and Spec. B models Constructed of 319 die cast aluminum, manufactured to ensure the smoothest high flowing bends, each intake kit includes a silicone reinforced boot, anti-vibration mounting system, stainless steel t-bolt clamps, and a SPT 4-layer cotton gauge filter with a built-in velocity stack for smooth air flow. They come in a new gunmetal gray-textured power-coat finish and feature a raised SPT logo, and are CARB certified and compliant with 50-state emissions regulations.
That SPT exhaust made by Borla (i think) got recalled for the Legacy. The exhausts had bad quality or something. There are some good ones out there though..
Its one of the few CARB approved intakes available. Bottom line, its CARB approved. If you do not already own a Typhoon, this could be something worth investing in (if you arein the market for an intake).
well, the FMIC is doing a lot more for cooling the air than the TMIC is doing so u could get away with a SRI (short ram intake) instead of CAI... personally, i'd try to keep a CAI regardless of which intercooler i use but most FMIC kits can not fit a CAI in the fender... the injen FMIC is one of the few (if not the only) FMIC that allows u to keep a CAI
