Whats up with all these little encounters today. Is something in the air? Anyways, heading north of 400 and had a guy and pull up beside in a silver elise and gave a thumbs up and friendly smile as we checked each other cars out. As we were headin to our exit he got on it , so i figured what the heck. Just tailed him for bit. I am surprised for a 190hp car how quick he pulled from 70 to 90. Anyways nothing but a little friendly play :wiggle:
you cant leave us all hangin like that. did it pull hard on you or where you faster? i know it was friendly but how fast was it.
A lotus elise weighs 1,300 lbs less than an STi. 1900lb/190hp versus 3300lb/300hp, technically the lotus is a faster car. Brian lusts for that car so he be faster than me
You're lucky. All that happened to me today was a stock honda civic revving his engine at me as he went by while I was waiting to turn left.
I was just hanging right on his butt. He pulled on me when he first got on the gas ,but I caught up and sat on his butt. It was a nice looking car.
Elises are nice cars. I know a man in his late 50s or early 60s that tracks a yellow elise and is super into racing it. His car collection is my dream: a late 90s M3, s 2004 M5 and a yellow elise. The best part is that he lets his kids drive all of them whenever.
elises are sooooo sweet and you can pick up a used one for under 40k.....thats funny keith glad to see you put her to the test.
