In cases like these, one really needs to consider two things...

    1) Is it right or wrong?

    2) How will it affect the situation over there.

I just read about this briefly, but whether the marine doing this was 'right' in his doing so is almost irrelevant when you take into account the negative impact it might have on how we are viewed in this situation.

Basically, it was just a dumbass thing to do.

If you listen to the song, he shoots the two men after they try and kill him, shooting their daughter instead.

If you read the comments made below the video, there's muslims saying they rejoice whenever they hear that an american soldier dies or when an american gets beheaded.

It's a slippery slope to even try to debate these things in my opinion. I don't feel he was in the wrong. Maybe the guy was alittle graphic, but he's over there in combat every day, I don't think anybody else can really criticize him. The song was meant to be to entertain troops over in Iraq, I don't think he intended it to be put online for everybody to see.

CAIR definitely took things way out of context, using it for a political agenda.

I just thought it wasn't very smart for someone to post it online but that people are overreacting to it. Make sure you actually watch it. The lyrics and article make it look worse than it is. They're at war over there and any song they write and sing to make light of the situation and laugh about it is fine with me. They're not going to write songs about flowers and green meadows when people are dieing.

whatever guys... you're damned if you do, and you're damned if you don't.

you can't find an open place to piss in that entire region of the world without giving someone cause for jihad.

and if you're from that region you couldn't walk into a wal-mart here without having some people ready to dial 9-1-1.
