Headers "DO" make a difference

didnt get a chance to read that... but from scott's experience,the stis that he has tuned with headers made low HP

 

but more torque right?

That's using ECUTek. When I had Scott tune my STi w/Borla Headers, it would not produce no more than 289WHP but the torque was something like 356WTQ.
