ok so about a month ago my engine started misfiring, I took it to a shop, they replaced spark plugs everything has been great, until today. I was driving and took a sharp left and powered into it, the engine missed, fired a check engine and than went back to normal, I drove around for about 15 min, no problems. I parked walked inside for a bit came back out started driving again and it started back, had to drive a ways back into town and after a while it started running fine again, went to an advance auto to check the code and its missing on 1 and 2. ran fine for about 25min and than started missing again. what do you think I should check first, I can follow instructions but I'm not knowledgeable enough to diagnose the problem. the only thing I can think of is that one of the plugs came loose, but I cannot tell from looking. oh and the shop that fixed it last time is closed today so I may have to wait till Monday and take it there.

misfires can be very difficult to track down. I have been battling misfires on 1,2,3,4 for about 3 months. I have checked all the normal things and have now moved on to checking very obscure things. Mine only does it at idle or very low load. If it wasn't for the CEL youd never know that they had happened.

If you find a sloution to yours make sure to post it up.

mine is very noticeable even before the CEL the engine shakes like it has a broken motor mount and if you give it too much gas it just bogs and shakes. I live in Columbus GA so im too far away for sog, sadly. i'm going to take it back to the shop that fixed it the first time Monday and see what he can do.
