I can not seem to get the turbo side of the intercooler to match up to the bracket. I have tried two different mounting brackets and trying to bend and flex them, but i can not seem to make anything work. Will the car be ok to drive for a day or two with just one of the bolts holding it?
get some zip ties and fastewn it that way..it should be ok but i would try to fix it as soon as you can just to be safe
zip ties are the method currently being used to hold it in place. Weapon is there anytime tomorrow afternoon i could stop by and have you take a look at it? (sorry about the whole thing again man)
i have zip ties holding my intercooler on and its been that way for about 2 years and has never moved..i have to work tomorrow man but maybe monday night if u have time
when we put my intercooler on, we needed 3 people to do it... 1 to push the intercooler, one to pull the bracket and one to thread the bolt in
Mike and I were able to do mine with just the two of us. It definitely took alot of forcing, but it can be done. I am sure that with three it would be much easier.
thats what i was thinking, atleast two people to push and pull, there was no way i was gunna be able to do it by myself.
its not that hard....put a little ass into it......muscle your way through it....I've done mine many times by myself...
i was just messin around, i think i am going to keep it for the time being, but it may be for sale soon as well as my turbo as i just got in a hefty amount of trouble over the weekend
i didnt exactly tell my parents the truth about how i was moddin my car and that i was spending money moddin it, and they arent very happy at all. So at the present moment they are trying to make me put the car all back to stock and they are even talking of trying to make me sell it, but that will never happen as i paid for the car myself. Living at home sucks
sorry to hear that dude... i thought my dad would say something after he saw a bunch of car parts in my living room... guess he's cool with it
haha you should have seen us sliding around in an empty parking lot this afternoon. The only time having good tires sucks.
Goldier/t- Look i don't really have a problem with you trying to get a hold of andrew here on the board. But I think that y'all need to talk about your issues through PM's or over the phone. This is a very friendly board, and we of WRXatlanta.com would like to keep it that way. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me and ask me. Thanks for your time. MIke WRXatlanta Moderator
