here's the whole story, if anyone has experienced this please feel free to chime in. Changed the rotors and pads on the suby and set off to "set them in". from what i gathered this included about 5-8 hard stops from about 60. anyway turn around at a stop light and decide to get on it. went through 4 gears up to about 80 or so and suddenly car does what feels like a misfire from hell and check engine light come on, flashing. when we figured out it was flashing in a certain pattern we counted.....7, 12, 15. car idled fine but whenever i went to maybe 20% throttle it would miss. i dont know if this is the car pulling timing or if its a bad plug. plugs were changed about 2,000 miles ago. came back to my buddies and took power off the battery to re-set the computer. seems to be running fine now but haven't took it out to get on it seeing as how i have to be up in about 5 hours. i will take it to auto zone tomorrow and have them read the codes if they were stored and give everyone an update. btw car is cobb stg 2. AP screen is broken at the moment or i would've pulled the codes when it started.:grr:
well it seems to be driving fine since i took the power off the battery. i went ahead and ordered a new set of plugs incase it's not completely fixed. thanks WJM
