had it pulled at autozone and it says: P1480 Fan secondary low with low fan on.
any idea on how to fix this? I had my dad test the relays and they all seem to be working. My fans do not come on at all though. Is it in the box itself or wiring to the fans. :dunno
I've got to get this fixed by next week so I can get my emissions done

JT, that's what I thought it was originally when they pulled the code at top speed. I have checked all the relays themselves but they all seem to be ok. Do you think it might be corrosion somewhere? What does high input mean?

I would replace the relays any way just becaus ethey seem ok doesn't mean they are, after replacing them reset your ECU if that doesn't fix it the Fan itself could be bad the motor could be dying.:D

yeah, the relays are about $20 a piece. I took the a/c relay (which is identical) and substituted it for each fan relay but I did not reset the ecu everytime. maybe I'll try that again, I just called SOG and they were saying a couple hours may be needed to figure it out. I don't have $300 to have someone replace a fuse if that's it. I want to try and find the problem and fix it myself.

Don't give it to SOG for a couple of hours. Whoever told you that needs to be slapped.

    Just kidding.

I took out the fan relays and cleaned them, I also jumbled them...for no particular reason. I reset the ecu and now the fans are working properly...Yay :) I've reset it before but nothing happened, we will see if it lasts.
I cleared one problem up then another has arisen. My alarm no longer works and is flashing on my gauge cluster once the car is off. hmmph....keeps me busy and out of the bars I guess

did you put it in valet mode by mistake?

Hell if I know, I noticed it this morning getting out at work and tried turning it off then back on but it did no good. It probably is in valet, I'll check it. by the way, how do you get it into/out of valet? thanks
answer hit unlock once then both lock/unlock at the same time.

usually if you look on the back of your remote it tells you how to shut it off and on and get it out of valet mode. We'll at least on most remotes anyway.
