do not get HID's with your stock reflector housing, 1. it will blind people driving toward you and 2. you dont even get the complete light from the bulb. if you really want HIDs for the bug eye my sugestion is to go with a JDM prjector or an EDM projector or some after market projector headlight.

See if you can PM Chang and talk to him about his previous projector retro-fit.

i heard with the stock ones your fine....then some say you will blind people. So a set of projos would a good idea? i cant really afford the true JDM headlights seeing they are like 800 bucks+ or so.

Ill try pming chang as well.thanks alex

Could try, but it will not look correct in the stock housings because of the lack of a focused reflector. Alex and I have gone to great extent to try to figure out a cheap setup for his bugeyes for HIDs without getting the JDM/EDM's themselves. It seems most adventageous to look for A6's projectors and phillips ballasts.

don't recommend D1S style. It'll be pain in the a$$ when you try to replace bulb or ballast. D2S type is the most popular choice among OEM. You can find more info about HID at www.hidforum.com that's where i learned all about my retro-fit.

you might want to get Bi-xenon since you don't have separate high beam
