Turns out the snap ring that was kicking my ass yesterday actually saved my car. I was trying to put it on while it was on the car so I took it off and did it. I didn't want to take it off because the fimc piping with the rotated kit was a pain to get on right. Well I broke down and took it of and found a chunk of metal in the ic piping. It was big enough that if it had been on the inlet side it wouldn't have made it through the core. Since it was on the output side it would have been in a cylinder as soon as I started the car. As for the snap ring I got it on in 3 tries
