my first was a wrx march of 2001. one of the first in central florida. i was a dsm guy but they missed my business cause the wrx came state side before the evo. sold it in 05and bought an avalanche. but i just couldn't stay away so i bought another suby. the suby i have now i bought in may 07.
i bought my first Subi, a Legacy GT in June 1999. sold it in June 2005 for my WRX. don't see me moving to another car any time soon. but a use Z06 is looking more and more fun the closer to 40 i get.
It will be 3 years soon. Judging by Subaru's current offerings (and basically since 2007), probably the last Subaru I buy in the foreseeable future.
bought it 2006 with 70k miles now its got 137k miles and its only been 4 years...yikes still got 4 grand left on payment....!
Bought my 2005 STi on Aug. 12, 2008 with about 32,000 miles. Currently has right under 39,000 miles. Was going to sell it before it hit 40K but not anymore. Still no door dings...
Bought new in Boston Memorial Day Weekend of '05 - 5 years and a few trips up and down the East coast later, and I'm approaching that 6-digit mark. Time to learn how to do a timing belt...
Bought mine on October 2006 as a birthday present to myself. ~35.5k miles on it so far. My biggest regret is being impatient and not saving up just a few more months for an STI.
