How old are your tires? manufacturing and expireation date

this is from another forum that I frequent and was quite useful, I learned I should not have sold my RE070s since my current tires on the stockers are made from the first week of 2002... code 0102

means the tire was produced in the 3rd week of 2005

Mine have been on my car for 5 days...I will check to see when they were made.

Edit: just checked...no date code. It has stamped...DOT CCOL then in little letters...F2142 and a bar code. Hmmmmm.

check both side of your car as the date is only stamped on one side of the tire
