well u click on the arrow a few times and do some simple math. And then your pc interrogates your brain and to determine what your thoughts are. Then the gopher alogrithm is applied to your thoughts and presto.. like magic it guess your symbol:keke: :keke:

 

all possible 2 digit numbers when selected and the following algebra is done, have the same symbol next to them...

 

i tried it twice... first time it got it right. second time it didn't.

am i special? did i break the code??

apparently there are only certain numbers you can get out of it? I did it three times and noticed that all of my previous answers would have the same symbol as my new answer.

 

reverse enginer it using the values from the other symbols

 

ok I got it. Doing what it tells you, your answer can only be in intervals of 9. All of the intervals of 9 have the same symbol.

 

exactly... and here's a proof:

let
Z = 2 digit number you have selected

X = the digit in the 10s place
Y = the digit in the units place

(eg. if you choose Z=43, then X=4 and Y=3)

Note Z = 10*X + Y

STEP 1:
A = X+Y

STEP 2:
B = Z - A
= (10*X + Y) - (X + Y)
B = 9*X

Hence your final answer will be a multiple of 9 no matter which 2 digit number you choose.

 

It guessed wrong twice for me. oh wait I didnt subtract now it works, only once it was right

That made my head hurt a lil bit.

 

yup all multiples of 9 has the same symbol
its disguised with so many other symbols so you think there are various answers and everytime you play the game it changes symbol. but the 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54,...... always have the same symbol

 

any more of this and you're getting a pocket-protector mister.
