Who here has experience with Hydras EMS? I just bought the 92 legacy turbo with the closed deck ej20 in it and am looking for worth while tuning options and it seems hydra is the best/only option.

Dan at BG also tunes quite a few hydras. I've never met a single tuner that likes the hydra so you might want to try and find another option. It seems like every one of the hydra units makes multiple return trips to hydra for updates etc....

Like I said the other day, for the price of a hydra you could slap on some WRX heads w/ nice cams and run a WRX ECU. Or go all out find some ver7 or ver8 heads so you can run AVCS. Either option lets you use a reflash and pass GA emissions while having a much more streetable car.

Meh for the price of a Hydra, I'd go ahead get get an AEM. Flawless pain free tuning. Just do what you have to do in order to make it work.

How do you all feel about running a Safc and AVCR?
