They are border collies and yes we are selling them to "non-pet" homes preferably. The female pictured there is an extremely talented frisbee dog and has a good eye for sheep. Border collies in general are extremely active and need a large yard for running and need regular stimulation. :wavey:
Border collies are awesome. Some neighbors of my wife's godparents have one, and she's a nut. Will play fetch the stick for literally hours and then go soak in a pond to recover for a few minutes before going back to fetching... a little hyper, but funny. You're right, they do need stimulation or some type of 'job' to be happy. We have a couple of shepherd/rottie/lab mixes and luckily they have a big yard with lots of fun stuff or they'd be miserable...
