So my friend, Andy, has his 2007 Limited STi, with a Titek catted downpipe and Scott Seigal protuned with a Version 2 Accessport. When he's driving, his I/C Spray dummy light comes on at 2800 rpm in first, second, and third gear... This is when he is starting from stop, but if he downshifts from 3rd to 2nd and is above 2800 rpm, the light does NOT come on... What wrong?????? Why does it light up so early in the rev range???
Does it have to have water in it? even if you aren't using it? He has the USDM switch, ie it's not an automatic spray...
If it doesn't have water in it the light will come on, or if there is only a little it will slosh around under hard acceleration.

Its low on water. When you're accelerating the car is pitching back and the water is moving from the sensor.

Low water... happened to me during hard G turns, freeked me out for a little till I figured it out...
