Well instead of a 95 Legacy sitting in my driveway a 2005 WRX wagon(grey) is sitting there now!:ddirty::dirty: Only got 16,000+ miles on it! Drove all the way to Charlotte to Folger Subaru. Apparently it had been sitting on the lot for several months. So I drove up yesterday, looked at it and did the paper work. Drove the Legacy up there and bam it's done! Tim is awesome! Gave me a great deal right off the bat on the WRX and the Legacy. I didn't even bother to bargain! Was the most nervous and yet happiest day of life! Never spent so much money, and unfortunatly I still have more to spend. But it's now mine and sitting there waiting on me. Was hard getting rid of the Legacy though. Car got me through 10 years of excellent service, couldn't have asked for more. Only bad part..I can't drive stick very well. So mom had to drive the whole way back. Drive went well, but man were we ready to get home. Love this car! Now to learn how to drive it :sx: (pics will be coming some day, but I don't have a camera right now soo..)
congrats u will love ur wrx the sec you get in.. i love my wrx and i'm sure u will love to drive it once u learn stickys
Good deal. Learning to drive stick on an AWD car is going to be a great experience for you. It's a lot different IMO because of the driveline losses but it's not any easier or harder really. Good luck and good driving.
Thanks guys! Always nice to look outside and just smile know that it's yours I've learned stick before, but only at random times. So bascially I just need to get "good" at it. Hardest part was learning in a pickup. No weight over rear tires='s spinage. Especially on a dirt road with a hill, heh.
Pickups are a lot of fun. I learned to drive in a pickup on dirtroads which I think everyone should at least try out sometime. The wagon should be able to break it loose pretty easily on the dirt too, but you get dust in everything. :hs:
good job man, always wanted a wagon but never had the cash. Next car should either be an 07 G35 or maybe an 08 WRX wagon down the road
