http://yearone.com/Events/TYOE/Post-Event+Coverage/2006+YearOne+Experience+Autocross/default.aspx This is from last year, I only had about 1,500 miles on it, bone stock. I'm going to set up a G2G for it this year. You pay about $30 for a ticket and you get as many runs on the autocross track as you can squeeze into 3 days! Its a lot of fun
I thought it was earlyer this year? I did find it funny how you managed to beat everyone there, by what 10 secs on the first run? Planning on running this year. Hope I can get my suspension modified by then, so I can stand a chance. If not..well I'm still gonna try. :ddirty:
So I just read that more carefully, that's insane, the 2nd place guy was running an ORIGINAL '67 AC Cobra. I'd be scared to death that I'd mess something up. But I guess if you have the money to own one, you have the money to fix it.
true, even though the track is paved with grass on both sides, if you go off, it is a smooth transition (no dropoffs) and nothing to hit. There are also driving instructors from the Panoz Racing School there to help you out if you want tips
