Ive got an 05 STI and there isnt anything done to it but a turbo back exhaust and thats it for performance mods. Im not looking doing anything as far as performance mods for awhile. I need help on trying to decide what clutch would be best for daily driving use, but would also be good for some hard driving. Any recommendations anybody?

I think the stocker is a good choice, but generally nobody agrees with me. Is yours worn out or something? My old '05 STi had a lot of mods and I was REALLY hard on the clutch with no problems. My opinion has always been stock clutches are designed to be used with stock transmission, so unless you have a reason to change, don't.

With the 6 speed you have a few more options in that your transmission is plenty strong to take a stage one or two clutch. That being said if you are driving it daily and not trying to drag race or anything I would suggest going stock. If you do upgrade stay with organic friction material.

I'd say go with a stock one as well.

Like mmtasty, I've been hard on mine and have been very impressed with the life I've gotten out of it.

Stock or an upgraded full organic. I had two different 6 puck clutches (one ceramic and one kevlar )and absolutely hated them in traffic.

6 puck clutches do suck in traffic. Get the ACT Organic HD clutch setup or the stocker.
