I have a vf39 for 03 2.0t is there any way I can put the turbo on it with a boost controller and turn the psi down. will it be safe to drive till I can get the rest of stuff.
ah then get a td04.. im not sure how safe it is to run a vf39 on a stock motor with no em.. dont do it.. you might end up with a blown motor
here is what happen I bout my car april 1 and I left to go to Jamaica for a month came back on the 12 of may. I grove my car for a month and the car started to act up , It was acting like I was N/A but the turbo was still building boost. I went away jun 28 and came back the 8 of july and toke it too a shop the next day and found a shit loud of licks. replaced all the lines and change out the blow off valve to an after market and it still was running bad. so I took the car up to subaru of gwanitte and call the claims office for nissan dealer and they said to go ahead an do a diagnostic on the car and they will send the money out to them. so I told neal and they went ahead so called them back talked to a different person and they said that they well send some one there to look at the car. a couple days pass and I called them back they say they cant cover it because a unwarranty part broke a warranty part that none of there warranty's covers the exhaust. so I called neal and he told me it looks like the person that had it before you knocked out the (cat) and left dabree in it and it miss fired and went into the turbo. I really dont no what to do but fix it myself and sew nissan. I just got a job last week at dunkin donuts I was suppose to have a job after I got back from barbados but it was to far with no car so I lost that.
holy crap, SUE nissan, its illigeal to sell the car like that. call then and tell them ur calling your lawer... be SURE to get the subaru techs exact words.. taht the personbefore you fucked it up.
depends on if it was sold as is or under warranty. You can always take them to small claims court. Anything under $5000 and it only costs like $50 or so.
In georga your not alowed to sell a car that cant pass emission and sell a car with no (cat) is a federal law from what I was told. and smalls claims goes up to 15,000 I want them to pay for my payments and insurance I,ve been paying. and if it's alowed to get payed for the job that I got my W4 fill out thats still at my house. If they will grant me 9hr. 5days a week till I got my job now.
I had a dealer sell me a car without cats. Almost 2 years later when I had to pass emissions I found out they were missing. The dealer replaced both cats( ~$800 high perf cats for mustang cobra) free of charge. They can't sell you a catless car! The fact that they sold it to me with a "passing emissions test" with the car certainly didn't help. Don't let the weasels get away with screwing their customers....
I'm not going to let them get away with shit. they've been asses from the start the gave me the car with no tran fluids toke it to the house and found that out. when I toke it back and told them what was wrong they ask me how did I know that they dont have dips I asked him what is that. oh and this is there tec is that not fuck great then they give me brake pads oil change for free.
I doubt this needs to be said but once this is all resolved, don't ever go back to that Nissan Dealership for anything. Even if they pay for the repair, and says something like, we will give you free X service for your inconvenience don't let them touch your car ever again. Also, on the lawyer standpoint, be careful. Honestly, since it is a Nissan Dealership, they don't know our cars wholeheartedly. If the previous owner of the car gutted the uppipe, the stock pipe is still on there, and comes a visual inspection, the dealership would not be able to tell, hell there is no evidence unless you actually pull the Uppipe. Next, is the car completely catless? If so, then it was definitely illegal to sell it, heck, if any of the cats were removed, that would make the car technically illegal, however, if all the other cats are untouched, and still on the car, then I don't think you will have any grounds to sue the dealership. Again, a gutted Uppipe looks exactly like the stock uppipe. SOG couldn't even see a gutted uppipe unless they pulled it from the car.
Also, because the UP cat is there for cold start emissions, the car most likely would've passed a normal emissions test if the other cats are there.
Exactly, so unless the other cats are removed, downpipe cat and midpipe cat, I don't think you will win a lawsuit against the dealer.
idk i just have an extra from when i had my rex. thats why i said borrow i would like to get it back.
